William Wallace Denslow (1856-1915) was an American illustrator and caricaturist. He is most famous for a number of one notable, classic nursery rhymes and stories.
He also drew the illustrations for 'The Wonderful Wizard of Oz' (1900), which as everyone knows was written by L. Frank Baum and turned into many movies with most famous starring Judy Garland. Who can ever forget the adventures of Dorothy, Scarecrow, Tin Man and the Lion!
